nice review!

Ooooh! LOVE YOU TO DEATH received such a terrific review from a local newspaper here in Maine that I had to share:

"Melissa Senate offers up another fun and fast-paced tale in her latest book, LOVE YOU TO DEATH. Part romantic comedy and part murder mystery, the story absolutely sizzles. While Senate's witty prose always offers plenty of charm, LOVE YOU TO DEATH will thrill local audiences even more, because it's set here in Southern Maine. Anyone looking for an easy escape from winter's icy grip, grab this whodunnit page turner and curl up in front of a warm fire. Just make sure you don't have any vengeful exes creeping up behind you." –The Community Leader newspaper

In the Boston/Cambridge, Massachusetts, area? Come for a reading/discussion of a new anthology of essays to which I contributed: IT'S A WONDERFUL LIE: 26 TRUTHS ABOUT LIFE IN YOUR TWENTIES. Where/When: Harvard Coop Bookstore, Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA, on Tuesday, February 6th at 7pm. Joining me will be anthology editor Emily Franklin and contributor Jennifer O'Connell, both so talented (and nice too). I'll be reading from my essay, THE ONE WHO GOT AWAY, which is essentially about breaking your own heart.  Hope to see you there!
